Breath Works
Using her own breath as a means to mark and move materials, the artist has developed several life- works which aim to freeze the movements of time for the viewer to see. By utilising breath the artist hopes to capturing the most ephemeral thing in life, life itself. These artworks are enduring in length and could take at least 23 years to complete, if not, a lifetime.
23040 Breaths only a Day
Series of breath prints in blue ink on tracing paper each accompanied by an individual title, time, date and series number. the 'Breath Prints' are an attempt to capture the most ephemeral essence of life, the titles next to each, a reflection of the artist's thoughts and feelings in the moment of making.2017-present

Golden Breath
By breathing on hot wax then applying copper leaf, this small sculpture was born, acting as a relic for the artist's breath from a moment long since past.2018

117 Breaths 20 Metres (studio view)
A length of tracing paper on roll with the artist's series of 'breath prints' in black ink. This artwork was an endurance piece and the 117 breaths seen here like spidery shadows were breathed in secession from one another. They also have a relationship to Rorschach tests.2018
