Artists Prints

Working with the medium of screen print, artist Rachel Davy utilises the ability to mass produce. The immediacy of the marks created allows time for them to be distributed in her participatory performances more quickly than that of more labour intensive works. As such, the artist has moved away from the process over recent years to focus on repetition within more labour intensive and  handmade uses of materials. Despite this shift, the prints seen here remain close to the concepts of ill mental health represented in her work and can be seen as a mantra for her life and practice as an artist.
